Slow Cooked Chili Con Carne

My palates changes with the season and lately with the cold winds and change in colours of the leaves I have started to crave the warm comfort foods. Gone are he grilled meats and salads and now I want risott, chciken pot oes, roasted meats and of course chili.

Traditional chili is made with diced beef and that is what i use here but feel free to sustiure ground beef (ground chicken or turkey) instead. If you are adding the meat ground then I generally brown it first and then drain the fat before adding it to the chili.
